YouTube has gradually become the go-to source of information for many, offering an abundance of high-quality content on various topics. Among these, financial education stands out as one of the most valuable. Today, I’m excited to share my top 5 picks for YouTubers who provide exceptional insights on finance and investing (please note that this is based solely on my personal opinion. If you’re looking to enhance your financial knowledge, these creators are definitely worth following. Enjoy!

Jeremy Lefebvre (Financial Education)

I’ve been following his content for years and have watched him evolve from a young investor to a seasoned multimillionaire. He was one of the few voices highlighting Tesla’s potential back in 2018–2019, well before its massive surge. His track record is impressive, with successful picks like ELF Beauty, Tesla, and Meta, though he’s also had his share of less successful investments, such as Tattooed Chef and Voyager Digital (both went bankrupt).

As a long-term shareholder, he avoids short-term trading and consistently advises his audience to stay calm during market downturns, encouraging them to buy the dip if they’re able. While I don’t agree with all his stock picks, I find most of his advice highly valuable for those pursuing a buy-and-hold strategy.

He’s also incredibly productive, posting 1–2 videos daily. While this can be a lot to keep up with, I usually focus on his monthly stock picks and a few other standout videos.

In conclusion, I highly recommend him as a reliable source of insights on the stock market and the economy as a whole.

Sasha Yanshin

Sasha Yanshin has also been a prominent presence on YouTube for many years. With 182k followers, he’s less widely known than Jeremy Lefebvre (811k), but his content is no less impactful. Based in the UK (you’ll instantly recognize his accent), Sasha focuses more on the overall state of the economy rather than individual stock picks.

I find his insights on inflation, politics, and the evolution of key economic metrics to be incredibly valuable. His delivery, often laced with a touch of cynicism, is both engaging and thought-provoking, frequently prompting deeper reflection on the true state of the economy.

Despite his skeptical tone, after watching many of his videos, I suspect he harbors a quiet optimism about the future, which makes his perspective even more refreshing. If you’re looking for sharp economic analysis with a dash of entertainment, I highly recommend checking out his channel!

Meet Kevin (Kevin Paffrath)

This one might stir some debate—meet Kevin Paffrath, aka “Meet Kevin!” With over 2 million subscribers, he’s arguably the most well-known finance YouTuber out there. His output is nothing short of impressive, with at least two new videos a day and regular livestreams (he has more than 5,200 videos on his channel!). Kevin provides insightful commentary on the economy and politics, and even ran for California governor in the 2021 recall election against Governor Gavin Newsom!

When it comes to stocks, Kevin is known for frequently changing his mind about various picks, which can make it challenging for his audience to keep up with his shifting views. That said, he’s undeniably entertaining, and the quality of his videos is top-notch. However, I wouldn’t personally follow his stock picks. He also runs an ETF called the “Meet Kevin Pricing Power,” which hasn’t performed particularly well, down about 2% year over year.

In conclusion, I recommend following Kevin for up-to-date economic news, but not necessarily for stock advice.

Finance Simplified

This is a relatively new channel with just 66k subscribers, but the quality of its content is sure to attract many more followers in the coming months. Finance Simplified specializes in small and mid-cap companies, highlighting some intriguing picks like High Tide ($HITI), Hims ($HIMS), and The Real Brokerage ($REAX). What sets this channel apart is its focus on stock picking, without delving into the economy or politics—an approach that’s refreshing for those who prefer a more straightforward analysis.

The host (also known on X but with a different name) offers a unique perspective and regularly introduces lesser-known stocks that could be great opportunities. If you’re looking for fresh investment ideas, this is definitely a channel to keep an eye on. Highly recommended!

Strong Man Personal Finance

Oh man, this one’s a fun addition to the list! Strongman is a true entertainer, and I guarantee you’ll have a blast watching his content. He’s a firm believer in buying long-term ETFs (he swears by $VT) and avoiding individual stock picks. His style is to poke fun at other YouTubers, especially when their stock picks don’t quite pan out.

He has a hilarious and often irreverent approach—he’ll even take his shirt off (yes, really) to emphasize his points, which just adds to the entertainment. While his commentary is definitely on the playful side and not everything he says should be taken literally, it’s refreshing to see someone offering a different perspective about your stocks.

As a CPA, his advice tends to make sense, though not always, so it’s worth keeping that in mind. If you’re looking for a good time with some financial insights, Strongman is definitely worth checking out!
