This book is highly rated on Goodreads but with only a handful of reviewers. It is also not available at any Barnes & Noble stores in my area (there are several). I get the feeling that it probably is a bunch of pages saying stuff that everyone already knows, like think long term, be frugal, invest, work hard, but play hard, etc. the ebook sample is mainly reviews and the table of contents. There’s only about a page of the introduction. I thought I’d check it out at B&N, but if they don’t have it, guess I’ll take a pass.
I just switched jobs and went from 13.00 to 1850 an hour. Trust me this newfound ability to save and stash money every month bring me a lot of happiness. Combined with living frugally I am now able to save $1,000 a month just by going to work 40 hours a week. Just a marginal increase in income Brought more happiness due to the increased security an upward mobility.
I understood some of this before the video. Might still be a book I can check out. A bit about my situation:
Dropped out of school at 16. Went into the workforce. Got my GED at 18. Got better jobs. Saved and invested. Stopped buying clothes when I stopped caring what others thought of my dressing (23). Got the hand-me-down car from my mother while she bought a new one. At 31 I was diagnosed with MS (wasn't feeling good a few months before seeing the doctor). At 35, I am now unemployed. I am blind in my left eye as this disease hit my left side (extremely burred vision). I have released a book I had written and working on my second book. It isn't making me a millionaire, however, I am grateful I was able to accomplish it before my body failed like it has. As for finances, I am keeping afloat with savings and investments. We will see what the future holds. So, make sure you are good before you find out you need to be, that is what I have learned with this.
Financial planning is like navigation of wealth wisely by adhering to necessary strategies. If you know where you are and where you want to go, navigation isn't such a great problem. It's when you don't know the two points that it's difficult
Discovered that the book is free on the app that my public library uses, so I can clean and fold laundry while listening to your book recommendation! Thanks.
Just ordered the book. Keep recommending books like this that you found life changing yourself. Saves the rest of us a lot of time! A 2025 project for me is to read a lot more about wealth mindset and investing. There’s a significant gap in my knowledge on these things. I grew up in a family with an extreme scarcity mindset. Still trying to shake that at age 62. At least I did learn a lot of frugality from them as well but that has to be paired with a financial growth mindset. I’m late learning about these concepts but as they say, late is better than never.
Cash flow is king. High yield dividend etfs generate profit from selling options and pay out higher than traditiinal stock dividends. This could be your answer to early retirement. Companies like Yieldmax, Roundhill, Defiance, Kurve, Neo have them but some are better than ohers. Not financial advice but with 25K you could be making $500 to $2000 per month. So imagine what slowly rolling into 100k or 200k could do for you. You can use a DRIP to reinvest. You can use a tax free Roth IRA account. Always be scaling up and diversifying. You can use a little margin and you can get loans if you earn dividends. Dividends are qualifying income for loans. Have fun!
I've seen people with no money and it's tough. Yes money changes a lot. But ultimately you have to pick yourself up and do your best My dream is to live in the countryside I hope I achieve this
I'd say money is a catalyzer. If you are happy, you can be happier and realize your dreams, help yourself and family, etc. If you are a poor addict with untreated mentally illness, you will spend it in vices and be way more miserable long run.
Thanks for sharing such valuable information! I need some advice: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
The long game is the mindset shift most of my family and friends won’t adopt. But that won’t help me today is what’s keeping you from a life you enjoy a decade or two from now. Maybe three. How does this decision play out over the next few decades is a powerful mindset compared to how will it feel right now. Cheers 🙂
the people who don't p[ay attention to how the system works and deny that it's rigged , are the fools who think buyign a house and a million means you out systemed the system. When you fing out that house is negative equity and badly built because the system is rigged for profit of the builders and lenders over the average income buyer… When you find out the million you made is based on taking money from other people who can't afford the house you bought
And when you find out the stock market no longer is built on real value but hypebeasts and inflation money
And when you figure out all wealth has been extracted and concentrated in a few thousand people
AND WHEN YOU FIND OUT THE GUY NEXT TO YOU LOST ALL HIS MONEY TO MEDICAL DEBT
You stop blaming and calling other people "lazy". and you LISTEN.
I am glad I have 2 other incomes other than my 9-5. I have my amazon buisness and rental homes that bring in 140k a year. My 9-5 job only pays 133k a year ands its stressful. I plan on quitting my job and just "retiring" next year, but people tell me not to do it since I am still 33 years old. What do you guys think?
It seems that some people are really disliking your message here. I just want to remind everyone that he keeps saying to follow these steps IF financial freedom is a priority for you. If it's not… THAT'S OK! Some people find joy in their current careers and live perfectly happy and fulfilled lives working until retirement age and following the norm. I'm a teacher, and I fully intend to do this work my whole life. I still enjoy the videos for any small tidbits I can use to improve my financial standings. As Gabe said, money is a TOOL that can provide options and comfort…it doesn't mean that you should be extreme in order to retire early and travel the world if that doesn't seem fulfilling to you. Thanks for another great video, Gabe.

Ok, I will alert the media. Heck! I'd rather be RICH!
What decade does this video end? 😊

No the system is definatley rigged , engineered by design, doesn't mean I cant break free . This is not a beleif, it's a fact
There's a thinking rich quote that goes "Poverty is the root of all Evil". Yep.

Nice analogy on crabs!

People underestimate the power of mindset. Guarded Laws of Money Manifestation explains why it’s the key to wealth.
Thank you sharing. Very insightful and learnt something new. 🙏
Thanks for helping us help ourselves!
Needed to see that page about credit card!!! ❤
Atomic Habits is a dope one ☝🏽
Yes we need to overcome to learned helplessness 🎉

screw that book.
Great Motivation . thank you
Is it really fair to say that the system isn't rigged? I mean, look at the student loan crisis! Not everyone can just decide to be rich. 💸💭
Well , i realy want to get a side hustle but, honestly i am burned out on my day off that all i want is to chill at home..
Is not easy to stay motivated and work daily
How despicable that "scientists" decided to electrocute a dog to prove something that is already plainly observable in peoples' lives.
Amazing video! Subscribed 👍🏻

Nice work

The fact that nobody talks about the forbidden book "Attracting Money" on Verbiara speaks volumes about how people are stuck in a trance…
Du würdest lieber mal in timestamps investieten, Sagat!
The crabs in a bucket analogy is crazy. I’m gonna check this book out…. Once I get my next audible credit. 😅😂

Being a utuber is risky too. What if social media crashes?
